By encouraging young people of diversity to pursue health care careers, we can improve the quality and cultural competency of the health care system. We can close the health disparities gap and improve health outcomes.

African American Health Scholars Program
The UnitedHealth Foundation African American Health Scholars Program supports African American high school, college and graduate students who are seeking health-related careers.

The UnitedHealth Foundation also works with scholarship organizations to help identify and support outstanding young people who aspire to higher education.
