NY Rate Filing Notification – Important information for small group employers with EPO and POS plans renewing in Q2 2012
As previously communicated, we submitted rate applications with the New York State Insurance Department (NYSID) seeking rate increases for 2012. An initial notice was sent to all impacted policy and certificate holders at the time of the rate filing, as required by the New York state prior approval law. On January 25, 2012, we mailed the required second notice advising of the increases approved by the NYSID for impacted groups and subscribers (UnitedHealthcare New York small group EPO and POS) renewing in the second quarter of 2012.
