SOUTH FLORIDA HISPANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE NAMES UNITEDHEALTHCARE 2007 HEALTHCARE PROVIDER OF THE YEAR

MIAMI (Nov. 5, 2007) The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has chosen UnitedHealthcare, a UnitedHealth Group (NYSE UNH) company, as the recipient of its 2007 Healthcare Provider of the Year award.

According to chamber President Liliam M. Lopez, UnitedHealthcare received the award in recognition of its "extraordinary" local and national health care initiatives through its Latino Health Solutions program, which provides culturally relevant and linguistically accurate products and services that address Hispanics unique health care needs.

The award will be presented during the chamber's 13th annual Sunshine Awards luncheon aboard Carnival Cruise Lines Fascination at the Port of Miami Friday, Nov. 2. UnitedHealthcare is the first national company to receive the award.
