Emotional resilience refers to a person's ability to adapt to stressful situations. At some point, most of us will experience serious stress or challenges in our lives. People who are more resilient may be able to "roll with the punches" or "bounce back" more easily; while those who are less resilient often have a harder time dealing with stress and life changes. Resilience is not something we are born with or not. You can develop skills to help you improve your emotional resilience, even if you are naturally more sensitive to life's difficulties. This seminar will help you learn more and discover ways to hone and improve your coping skills. We also will touch on ways to help children build their own emotional resilience skills.
