Christie Clinic to join UnitedHealthcare Choice and Choice Plus network in central Illinois

Beginning June 1, 2022, the UnitedHealthcare Choice and Choice Plus network in central Illinois will include Christie Clinic. Christie Clinic is one of the largest physician-owned, multi-specialty group practices in Illinois. The addition of Christie Clinic allows UnitedHealthcare the opportunity to continue to grow in Champaign and the central Illinois area. Christie Clinic will be added to the national network, which already includes 1,216,575 physicians and health care professionals and 6,540 hospitals.¹

With UnitedHealthcare Choice and Choice Plus, employees can choose from any provider in the network, including specialists. There’s no need for referrals and no need to select a primary care physician (PCP). A large variety of plan designs are available in both fully insured and self-funded options.
