Nick Soares named Vice President of Mid-Atlantic Sales

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Soares as the new Vice President of Sales for the Mid-Atlantic market. In this capacity, Nick will oversee the New Business Sales team supporting Mid-Atlantic employer groups ranging from 51 to 5,000 eligible employees.

Nick brings nearly 14 years of distinguished service with UnitedHealthcare, most recently leading the Mid-Atlantic Specialty Sales and Account Management organization for the past four years — one of the highest-performing Specialty teams nationally. Prior to joining UnitedHealthcare, Nick spent 10 years with MetLife, working in Large Group Sales (500+) in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. region.

As part of this leadership transition, the Mid-Atlantic Sales organization will report directly to Nick. This includes Julie Roberts and her 51–99 Medical and Specialty teams. Marianne Randazzo, Vice President of Account Management, will continue to oversee the Strategic Account Executives responsible for renewing our large group business.

Outside the workplace, Nick enjoys spending time with his family. They are frequent visitors to Disney World, avid baseball fans, and committed supporters at the numerous sporting events of their four sons.
