UnitedHealthcare Level Funded and Oxford Level Funded (CT only) plans offer a large range of plans and network options paired with wellness programs, virtual visits and a user-friendly mobile app that allows plan participants access to their plan information at their fingertips. Now, this great health plan solution is becoming even more flexible.
Beginning with Sept. 1, 2023, case effective dates, 100+ eligible groups will have the ability to select:
- Deductible limits
- Out-of-pocket limits
- Benefit cost share values
- Copayment – Available when base1 plan has a copay
- Coinsurance – Available when base plan has coinsurance
- Per occurrence deductible/copay
- Prescription Drug List
- Advantage with Specialty Medical Cost Share (SMCS)
- Essential with SMCS
- Preventive Medications List
- Core Plus Preventive Medications List can be added on HSA plans and will automatically include the small medical bundle
- Rx Tiers – Retail and Specialty Pharmacy
- Copayment – Available when base plan has a copay
- Coinsurance – Available when base plan has coinsurance
- Per occurrence Rx deductible/copay
In addition to benefit flexibility options, groups can choose their surplus share amount2 of either:
- 50% (standard in most states)
- 67%
- 100%
