Laurie Mandell

CEO, UnitedHealthcare of the Carolinas

As CEO, Laurie is responsible for leading the health plan to successfully deliver affordable, quality health care programs to employers and members, which provide broad access to physicians and advanced member tools and technology to improve the overall health and well-being of the population served for the commercial group line business. Laurie joined UnitedHealthcare in October 2010 and has since held various roles including Director of Account Management, Vice President of Key Accounts and Public Sector, and Vice President of the Florida Markets for commercial health plans. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual Plan of the Carolinas. Laurie holds a Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in Health Care Management and Human Resource Management from Ohio University.
