About Benefit Ally
Benefit Ally offers a simplified experience for both the customer and member. By bundling Supplemental Health products with Medical plans, members may receive additional financial support for unexpected medical events.
Benefit Ally helps customers and members in the following ways:
Customer: Benefit Ally streamlines the administrative process for customers by bundling existing Supplemental Health products with Medical plans and offers this as a single package to the customer (e.g., single quote, invoice, etc.).
Employee/member: Benefit Ally simplifies the member’s experience by automating the claims payment of Supplemental Health benefits; the member automatically receives a Supplemental Health benefit check when a qualifying event/diagnosis is identified (via medical claims).
Benefit Ally – Value versus Benefit Ally – Enhanced
Benefit Ally is available as two different packages: “Benefit Ally – Value” and “Benefit Ally – Enhanced.” While the Supplemental Health benefits covered in each package are identical, the member payouts differ. For example:
- Benefit Ally – Value: Pays the member $3,000 for a cancer diagnosis
- Benefit Ally – Enhanced: Pays the member $4,000 for a cancer diagnosis
Benefit Ally is available on fully insured (100+) plans in the following markets:
- New Jersey – now including Oxford business with 3/1/23 effective dates
- North Carolina
- Washington, D.C.
