Potentially lower costs

Fully insured employers with group sizes between 2 and 100 may see additional savings when they offer UnitedHealthcare Vision alongside their UnitedHealthcare medical and/or other specialty plans through our uBundle® and Packaged Savings® programs.

Maternity and pediatric benefits

Because vision may change frequently during pregnancy and childhood, our vision plans include additional maternity and pediatric benefits, such as coverage for a second eye exam per plan year and new glasses if vision changes reach a certain threshold in a plan year.

Discounts on frames, lenses and contacts

In addition to savings of 20% to 60% off retail frames and lenses, employees may also qualify for discounted contact lenses and laser vision correction.
