Healthy First Steps®.

Expectant moms get extra help to stay healthy and have a healthy baby. Breast pumps available at no cost for eligible members. 1-800-599-5985, TTY: 711.

KidsHealth® website.

A free online resource with articles and videos on hundreds of topics, including asthma, diabetes, nutrition and exercise.

Youth programs.

Boys & Girls Clubs provide after-school programs, mentoring and homework assistance for youth members at participating clubs.

Behavioral Health Services.

Hearing exams and hearing aids.

Covered for members under age 21.


Healthy First Steps®

This special program makes life easier for you and your baby. We help you:

• Find a doctor for yourself and your baby.

• Make appointments before and after your baby is born.

• Arrange transportation to and from doctor’s visits.

• Arrange for home health care if your doctor requests it.

• Order special supplies your doctor wants you to have. 

UnitedHealthcare Healthy First Steps®

This program helps keep you and your baby healthy during your pregnancy and your baby’s first 15 months of life. It includes:

• Email appointment reminders.

• A fun program to keep track of appointments.

• Reward cards for clothing and more.



@UHCPregnantCare (in Spanish: @UHCEmbarazada) gives pregnant women information about pregnancy, childbirth and health in general.
