All Savers® Alternate Funding 2019 portfolio update for small business

All Savers is introducing UnitedHealthcare Navigate® and UnitedHealthcare Charter® plans in its 2019 portfolio. Navigate and Charter plans encourage quality care and guide employees to use health care more efficiently. A primary care physician (PCP) can help employees save time and money. Navigate and Charter combine these savings opportunities with smaller, focused networks designed to help deliver lower costs.

The 2019 portfolio will also bring Premier PROFormance plans. The PROFormance plans offer employees lower copays for care they need most; like primary care office visits, specialist visits, virtual visits and urgent care, but do not require a referral for specialty care. PROFormance plans also provide $0 primary care office visits for kids.

Benefit updates

Prescription Drug List (PDL)

The 2019 portfolio will provide groups more flexibility with their pharmacy benefits. All Savers is introducing the Essential PDL drug plan. This will provide groups the option to choose either the Essential PDL Prescription Plans or Advantage PDL drug plan to pair with their medical plan offerings.

Alternative care benefits

By increasing access to the right providers, employees may receive quality care and reduce their medical costs. The 2019 portfolio will provide separate chiropractic visit limits (20 visits) from other rehabilitation services and is introducing acupuncture (10 visits) as a covered benefit.

Additional changes

The 2019 portfolio focuses on health and well-being and will provide tools for employees to make small changes that can impact long-term health results.

  • Effective Aug. 1, 2019, Real Appeal® will be available to new and existing All Savers plan participants. Real Appeal provides tools and support to help employees lose weight, feel good and prevent weight-related health conditions.
  • All Savers will bring HealthiestYou™, Best Doctors® and Rally® to new and renewing groups in Delaware, Missouri, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
  • Delaware will have the ability to quote groups down to five lives beginning with Sept 1, 2019 effective dates.

To provide the ability to offer groups the specific plans they’re used to seeing in their market, All Savers now provides the ability for its portfolio to be composed of region-specific health plans.

Marketing materials supporting the new plan offerings will be available on the myallsavers.com broker website – in the “Forms and Brochures” tab. Not all plan categories and features are available in all markets. Be sure to work with your local health plan and use state specific material found on myallsavers.com.
