Fully insured groups and members receiving UnitedHealthcare Healthy Pregnancy program will be transitioned to the more robust Maternity Support Program.
They will continue to receive support and guidance from our experienced nurses as they are transitioned from the Healthy Pregnancy Program to the new program, effective June 15, 2018.
The Maternity Support Program, which has been offered as a buy-up to self-funded clients, will now be offered as the standard and at no cost to fully insured clients. Self-funded clients will not be impacted at this time.
The Maternity Support Program is a more robust personalized and proactive outreach program than the Healthy Pregnancy Program. Each member is supported before, during and after pregnancy by an experienced maternity nurse who provides assistance, guidance, answers and education. The UnitedHealthcare Healthy Pregnancy App will continue to be made available to UnitedHealthcare E&I eligible members.
