UnitedHealthcare will improve the efficiency of its billing system and offer online invoicing for all customers under the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Life/Health Trust starting Aug. 27, 2018.
The improved, more user-friendly invoice will save the time, money and hassles associated with paper-based invoicing processes. In addition, an online tool allows clients to view invoices and make payments through a secure connection, manage cash more efficiently and analyze employee benefit expenses more quickly.
In addition, the ability to view and pay invoices online means that a request can be made for an updated invoice reflecting all changes and it will be ready within 48 hours. With the fully integrated system, data will only need to be entered once for it to be applied to all key areas, providing a faster turnaround for employee enrollment and online payments. Accurate and adjusted invoices eliminate unnecessary time and effort spent tracking down credits and ensuring they are applied in the right places.
Email alerts for ACEC client invoices will no longer include attachments; instead, invoices must be viewed within the Employer eServices web portal. For more information about how the new invoices will be accessible via Employer eServices, please reference the Customer Experience Billing brochure.
For assistance in accessing ACEC groups via Employer eServices, UnitedHealthcare representatives are on hand to assist with the registration process.
