This course provides sales professionals with the accurate terminology and knowledge to discuss and position self-funded concepts and underwriting. Topics include administrative claims, stop loss, cash flow, performance guarantees as well as fully insured and self-funded comparison proposals.
Knowledge Institute 101: Jan 14-18, 2019 in Phoenix, AZ
Looking to get a crash course on the basics of health insurance? This course engages those new to the healthcare industry through an entry-level training program, taught from a carrier-neutral perspective. This training is ideal for those just staring in managed care or making a career transition from property and casualty background. Continuing credits are available ranging from 8-12 credit hours.*
Advanced Self-Funded Strategies: Feb 4-6, 2019 in Las Vegas
This course targets seasoned brokers with 3 or more years of self-funded experience, with an objective to learn technical elements of self-funded underwriting. This class leverages actual case studies by building on topics including network, pharmacy rebates, pricing and reporting. Participants analyze and interpret claims and utilization reports to uncover insights and develop solutions to meet client needs. Continuing education credits are available ranging from 8 to 16 credit hours!*
