UnitedHealthcare is offering a bonus to agents permanently located in Colorado who sell a minimum of 3 new specialty benefits coverage plans. Agents must have a new business annualized premium of $250,000 and a premium persistency of 85 percent or greater to qualify for the bonus.
Eligible specialty benefits lines of coverage are new employer-sponsored or voluntary, fully insured or self-funded dental, vision, basic life, supplemental life, short-term disability, long-term disability, critical illness, accident and hospital indemnity coverages. The plans must be sold to groups with 101 to 3,000 eligible employees and must have effective dates from July 1, 2018 through Jan. 31, 2019.
Agents who meet the qualifying criteria will receive a bonus according to the following table:
The bonus paid is the amount indicated in the row in the table where both the minimum lines of coverage, new business annualized premium and persistency are met.
The bonus amounts in the bonus payment table are not cumulative. Only the highest amount indicated in the row in the table where each of the total number of eligible lines of coverage, annualize premium and persistency are met will be paid.
