The Getting Started Toolkit is a self-service, online resource that gives employers a variety of tools and materials to share with employees to help them gain a better understanding of their health plans right from the start. Poor understanding can lead to unexpected surprises, such as delays in care, additional out-of-pocket costs and more.*
Enhancements to the Getting Started Toolkit include updated resources for 2019 and a new design to make finding content quicker and easier. Resources are organized in three sections: Before the Plan Begins, When the Plan Begins and One to Three Months Into the Plan. Each section includes a variety of resources for brokers and employers to use including fliers, videos, quizzes, infographics and emails. The variety of resources allows you to decide which formats work best and how to distribute them. The At-A-Glance flier shows what resources are available in each section of the Getting Started Toolkit.
The Getting Started Toolkit is enhanced with a more intuitive, on-brand design and navigation to provide a better customer experience.
