With a Virtual Visit, employees can see and talk to a doctor via a mobile device or computer – 24/7, no appointment needed. The doctor can offer a diagnosis and write a prescription* if needed. With the UnitedHealthcare plan, the cost is $40 or less.
Virtual Visits are offered for minor medical needs, including:
- Bladder infection/Urinary tract infection
- Bronchitis
- Cold/flu
- Fever
- Pinkeye
- Rash
- Sinus problems
- Sore throat
- Stomachache
Employees can access Virtual Visits through uhc.com/virtual visits, and should have these three items available:
- Health plan ID card
- Credit card
- Pharmacy location
