MedExpress is now offering infusion therapy in select Florida markets

MedExpress, a national network of urgent care centers that provide walk-in treatment for patients, expanded its offerings to include infusion therapy in select Florida markets last year. The neighborhood medical centers that offer this service are: Boynton Beach, Clearwater, Coral Springs, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Largo and Tampa.

Infusion therapy involves administering medication intravenously, and is used to treat conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease and multiple sclerosis. MedExpress offers patients the assurance of onsite medical oversight during infusion administration, along with the comfort of private infusion suites. Infusion patients who have visited MedExpress centers have consistently rated their experience as “highly satisfied” on internal patient surveys.

The MedExpress network consists of approximately 260 centers in 19 states. All MedExpress care centers offer treatment for illnesses and injuries, wellness exams and employer health services.  Each center is open daily, including weekends, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET.  Appointments are needed for infusion therapy at MedExpress Centers but are not required for most other services.
