UnitedHealthcare renews network relationship with Duke LifePoint (DLP)

UnitedHealthcare is pleased to announce that it has reached a multi-year agreement with DLP, restoring network access to all of DLP’s hospitals and its physicians for plan participants enrolled in UnitedHealthcare employer-sponsored, individual and Medicare Advantage plans. The following facilities will rejoin UnitedHealthcare’s commercial and Medicare Advantage network beginning April 25, 2019:
- Central Carolina Hospital
- Frye Regional Medical Center
- Maria Parham Medical Center
- Person Memorial Hospital
- Rutherford Hospital
As a part of the agreement, DLP-owned physicians who went out-of-network will rejoin UnitedHealthcare’s commercial and Medicare Advantage network, effective May 1, 2019.
