Members can now take advantage of the new and improved UnitedHealthcare® app

As of Sept. 1, 2019, members can utilize the new UnitedHealthcare app, providing secure, on-the-go access to personalized health information. We encourage your employees to begin using the UnitedHealthcare app as Health4Me® will begin the sunsetting process in the near future. The UnitedHealthcare app keeps employees engaged with a simplified experience where they can:

  • Find nearby care and pricing.
  • Video chat option available with a doctor 24/7 without leaving the app.
  • View Optum Bank® financial account balances.
  • See claims, Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and deductibles.
  • View and share their health plan ID card.

The UnitedHealthcare app allows users to easily:

  • Find and price a drug.
  • Locate a pharmacy.
  • Refill home delivery prescriptions.
  • Check the status of home delivery orders.

Secure account access with HealthSafe ID®

HealthSafe ID allows users to access information, apps and website resources with the security and convenience of just one username and password. This experience further ensures the safety and privacy of users. Members can use their existing HealthSafe ID from® or Health4Me.

“Contact Us” features including in-app messaging

An in-app introductory message will be presented to Health4Me users on October 1 to introduce the new UnitedHealthcare app.

Paperless account preferences and information

Information providing details on features and functionality will be available on Members also have the option to go paperless, which provides important notifications, alerts and information directly on the app, saving time and trees.
