Heading out to the ballpark? Ready to hit the hiking trails? Avoid careless snacking by planning ahead. Mix nutritious, energy-boosting nuts with the subtle sweetness of raisins for a trail mix that makes a perfect snack on the go. Or mix your own favorite nut variety with bits of dried fruit and other ingredients here.

It can also be used to top plain or vanilla yogurt. Remember, though, some foods like seeds, nuts and even raisins may pose a choking risk for very small children – this mix is meant to be enjoyed by older folks!


  • 1/4 cup unsalted peanuts or almonds
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup soy nuts
  • 1/4 cup corn snack mix
  • 1/4 cup shelled sunflower and/or pumpkin seeds


Mix together and put into single-serve containers.
