We are negotiating with INTEGRIS Health to renew our relationship and help ensure health care is affordable for Oklahoma families and employers

We are negotiating with INTEGRIS Health in an effort to renew our relationship so the people we serve have continued access to INTEGRIS’ hospitals and physicians in Oklahoma. We have a responsibility to provide the people we serve with access to quality health care while also helping to contain rapidly rising health care costs. Our goal is to keep INTEGRIS in our network at rates that are affordable for Oklahoma families and employers.

If we are unable to reach an agreement, INTEGRIS’ physicians, hospitals and facilities in Oklahoma will be out of network for our employer-sponsored and individual plans, Dual Special Needs Plan (DSNP), Group Retiree and Medicare Advantage plans, effective Dec. 6, 2023.

INTEGRIS is demanding a 20% price hike over just two years that would impact members on employer-sponsored health plans

INTEGRIS is demanding a 20% price hike over just two years for members on our employer-sponsored health plans. Throughout the negotiation, INTEGRIS continues to repeat its demands for unsustainable rate increases that would increase premiums and out-of-pocket costs for our members as well as the cost of doing business for companies that simply want to offer affordable health care coverage for their employees. If we were to accept INTEGRIS’ proposal, its physicians would be reimbursed at rates that are 20% higher than the average rate of other in-network Oklahoma providers over the next two years.

We have agreement on rates for our Medicare Advantage contract and proposed to INTEGRIS that we finalize the contract. INTEGRIS refused

We have agreement on Medicare rates and proposed to finalize the terms of our Medicare Advantage contract. This would have ensured continued access to the health system for our Medicare Advantage members while we continue to negotiate the commercial contract. Unfortunately, INTEGRIS refused and is unnecessarily threatening to disrupt network access for seniors presumably as leverage to obtain significant price hikes for people enrolled in employer-sponsored and individual plans.

Accepting INTEGRIS’ demands would challenge Oklahoma employers’ ability to offer affordable health care benefits

Because approximately 70% of our members in Oklahoma are enrolled in self-insured plans paid by their employers, our employer customers would pay the majority of the 20% increase that INTEGRIS is demanding. Health care costs continue to be a top concern for consumers and employers, and they expect us to help in making health care more affordable. That’s especially true today, as businesses throughout Oklahoma struggle to keep their doors open and attract and retain the employees they need. It’s more critical now than ever that we ensure they have access to affordable health care.

We have proposed a multi-year contract that includes meaningful increases that would ensure INTEGRIS is reimbursed at rates that are more than fair and exceed the market

We have made numerous attempts to compromise in the spirit of good-faith negotiation. We have provided a proposal that includes meaningful rate increases that will ensure INTEGRIS continues to be reimbursed at rates that are more than fair and reasonable for the services it provides to our members while also helping ensure health care is affordable for the people and employers we serve throughout Oklahoma. Unfortunately, INTEGRIS continues to repeat its same demands for unsustainable price hikes.

We urge INTEGRIS to accept our latest proposal without further delay so the people and communities we serve can have access to care at an affordable cost

We recognize this can be a challenging process for the people we serve who rely on INTEGRIS for their health care needs and we do not take the potential disruption lightly. Our top priority is ensuring our members have access to the care they need while making health care affordable for them and the employers we serve. We urge INTEGRIS to sign our latest proposal without further delay so that the people we collectively serve have continued access to the health system at a cost they can afford.
