Access to Care Following Closure of Carney Hospital and Nashoba Valley Medical Center
On July 26, 2024, Steward Health Care announced its plans to close two of its Massachusetts hospitals — Carney Hospital in Dorchester and Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer. Both hospitals closed August 31, 2024.
If you had received care or visited providers at those facilities, you should be in touch directly with your providers to make any necessary adjustments to appointments.
