Being there: James guides teachers at Minneapolis Public Schools on using their health benefits

The 6,000+ employees of Minneapolis Public Schools have an important job, and it’s critical they have great health benefits so they can support students. But making sure they have access to benefits is only half the story.

The school district’s Director of Total Compensation Peter Ronza says, “It's one thing to provide them a quality network and quality health care, but it's useless if somebody doesn't know how to use it.”

To create the best experience for their employees, UnitedHealthcare staffed a dedicated on-site service account manager to help. James Bennett helps members understand their coverage, answers benefit questions and addresses any concerns. He says, “It feels good knowing I can take something off their plate.”

Creating supportive experiences to help our members understand and access their benefits is an important way UnitedHealthcare is there for what matters.
