UHC Store: A new way to personalize health and wellness offerings
No two employees are the same and their health and wellness needs and preferences may often be just as diverse. Empowering people with the ability to choose to supplement their employer benefits with health and wellness resources and offerings at any time may help support a more personalized health care experience.
UHC Store is a new digital shopping experience for eligible members to choose from and purchase a variety of discounted health and wellness offerings that may be meaningful to them and can supplement their employer-sponsored health benefits – helping to empower members with a more personalized experience.
UHC Store is designed to help give members a new level of choice and flexibility. Members have the ability to purchase programs and offerings at any time while potentially saving money through an average of 15% off retail prices.
UHC Store is now available to eligible commercial members within the UnitedHealthcare® app and on myuhc.com®.
“At UnitedHealthcare, we’re focused on creating the opportunity to provide additional value to our members through the UHC Store by helping them shop for offerings we’ve negotiated at a discount on their behalf,” said Amy Jordan, vice president of consumer digital engagement for UnitedHealthcare’s commercial business. “In the end, our consumer experience evolution has really been about creating more choice and value for our members.”
Currently, UHC Store includes offerings for:
- Everyday health — resources and support for women’s health, mental health and more
- Family wellness — resources and support for family planning, caregiving, pregnancy and postpartum support
- Fitness and nutrition — resources and support for weight management, nutrition and fitness
- Health coordination — resources and support for chronic conditions, such as autoimmune, diabetes, musculoskeletal and more
