The video transcript is available using mouse in modal which is good, as it's not available in the player when displayed using "inline" mode.

Issues:

In all browsers:

  1. When keyboard tabbing through modal, there is a place in the player controls between volumn and the CC icon where the focus is set somewhere on the viewport. Not sure why, as there is no visible control there. It is shaped like a small box.
  2. The play button should receive focus first after entering the modal.

In Chrome and Safari:

  1. The last icon that receives focus when tabbing is the full screen mode icon. Instead, it should be the slider control for the video transcript next and finally the x icon to close the modal.
  2. Also, tabbing beyond the full screen mode icon takes the user to the footer under the modal  on the page - the Newsroom link. Keyboard users should not be able to interact with the page underneath while the modal is open.

In IE:

  1. No closed caption icon available.
  2. When keyboard tabbing onto the video controls, the play button moves down screen - super weird.
  3. When tabbing onto the volume control, there is no way to increase or decrease the volume.

Full width video - is width of the closed caption controlled through the player? Full width video should show full-length captioning (be responsive) rather than stacked
