- Need a specialist? First talk with your primary care provider about a referral. If you think you need to see a specialist, start with a visit to your primary care provider (PCP). Your PCP will need to submit a referral for you to make sure the services are covered in your plan.
- Use network providers to help control care costs. When you choose in-network providers, hospitals and pharmacies, your plan covers more so you usually pay less.
