Medicaid: More for You in 2024

Dual Special Needs plans in 2024

Arizonans on a UnitedHealthcare Dual Special Needs plan (or dual health plan) get many extra benefits beyond those you get with either Original Medicare or Medicaid.

That includes:

  • Monthly credit to buy healthy food and OTC products and pay utility bills
  • An allowance for covered types of preventive and comprehensive dental 
  • $0 copay on all covered generic and brand-name prescriptions including home delivery

Individual & Family plan

  • Those who do not qualify for AHCCCS or are over-income for AHCCCS.
  • Under 65 or not eligible for Medicare.
  • Individuals or families that do not have employer offered health insurance.

As a member of UnitedHealthcare Community Plan, you may qualify for Assurance Wireless a government Lifeline Assistance program that provides a mobile phone and service plan, at no cost.

As an Assurance Wireless customer, you can easily access:

  • Health-related information from UnitedHealthcare
  • Benefit and program reminders via text for you and your family
  • UnitedHealthcare Member Services

Healthy First Steps

Build a healthy future for you and your baby and earn great rewards with Healthy First Steps. Our program will help you take the right steps to keep you and your baby healthy. Plus you can earn $20 just for signing up.

We will help you:

  • Choose a pregnancy provider and a pediatrician (child’s doctor)
  • Schedule visits and exams and arrange rides to your visits
  • Earn rewards for going to visits throughout your pregnancy and baby’s first 15 months of life.
