UnitedHealthcare announces new collaboration with Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA)

Effective Dec. 1, 2023, UnitedHealthcare is excited to welcome Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA).

UnitedHealthcare is excited to welcome the Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA) effective Dec.1, 2023. We are committed to providing innovative tools and resources as part of this new affiliation.

UnitedHealthcare offers advanced digital solutions and a Virtual Care Center of Excellence in making quality care more convenient for participating members. We will offer benefit designs specifically for WTIA clients as well as ensure there is full network adequacy. This will leverage the strength of the nationwide UnitedHealthcare Choice Plus network with over 1.7 million doctors and over 7,000 hospitals1, which reflects over 99.9% network availability for the current population of WTIA employer groups and their employees.

Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for WTIA members to get the care they need, leveraging technology-based resources that make connecting with their plan doctor more convenient and affordable. UnitedHealthcare is confident that this new relationship with WTIA is a natural fit for both organizations given our mutual technology forward approach, supporting small business in new and innovative ways.

We will be working together in the coming months to roll out enhanced broker compensation, seamless transition, and strategies for growth.
