Recently, the Missouri sales team sought out an opportunity to volunteer at a local food bank. The team has made it a regular occurrence to come together and partner with the St. Louis Area Foodbank to assemble cases of food for those in need.
Within a 2-hour period, a group of 25 coworkers put together 628 cases of food – of which 448 will go to seniors with food insecurities. This case number will provide approximately 13,544 meals for the hungry.
For nearly 50 years, the St. Louis Area Foodbank has been working to create a pathway to nutritional security for those in their community. They respond to hunger in communities across 26 counties in Missouri and Illinois by partnering with over 600 hunger-relief programs and local agencies, including soup kitchen, food pantries, shelters, and residential programs.
