UnitedHealthcare-Sanitas helps members navigate health care with confidence

For Isel Gray, a member service advocate with UnitedHealthcare, helping members understand their health coverage is one of the most rewarding parts of her job.

“Understanding co-pays and deductibles, referrals could be overwhelming sometimes,” Isel said. “So, I just kind of take the moment with our members to break it down.”

Isel said that support begins with connection and trust.

“We're here to really guide you, hold your hand and just kind of start from the beginning stage on teaching what insurance is, what the healthcare journey looks like,” she said.

That personalized support is part of the UnitedHealthcare-Sanitas ACA Marketplace plan, which connects members with coordinated, culturally aligned care teams, including access to a Sanitas primary care provider. The goal is to make it easier for members to access care, understand their health benefits, and get help navigating their health care journey.

For 2027, more individuals and families will have access to this personalized approach to care as the UnitedHealthcare-Sanitas plan expands into new markets.

Building on the successful initial launch in San Antonio, the UnitedHealthcare-Sanitas ACA Marketplace plan will now be available in:

• Fort Bend County, Texas
• Maricopa County, Arizona
• Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties in Florida

For Isel, it’s about connecting members to preventive care, routine appointments, specialists or ongoing support.

“My main goal is to assist our members through their healthcare journey and I'm proud of it,” she said.
