Michael Margherio is the Executive Director of UnitedHealthcare’s commercial business in Kansas and Kansas City, KS/MO. He oversees the overall product and growth strategies in the market and leads new business development, client satisfaction and client retention activities. Michael has held various leadership roles during his 20+ years at UnitedHealthcare. He has extensive experience building population health risk management strategies for employers with 2 to over 5,000 employees.
Michael serves on the Executive Committee for the Mid-America Coalition for Health Care, the Kansas Chamber of Commerce Board, and the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Helzberg School of Management at Rockhurst University. Michael earned his Executive MBA from Rockhurst University’s Helzberg School of Management and his BA in Philosophy from the University of Kansas.
